PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy applies to the Executive Education Programme including its website on which you create the User Account for registration of services including related modules, workshops and other courses, herein after called “Programme”. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

We will only collect such personal information as you knowingly and voluntarily divulge to us in order to use our services. Such information will allow us to provide you with a better service. The information collected will include such things as your name, date of birth, CNIC/Passport number, telephone number, residential or business address, email address, professional experience and such other information as may be necessary to improve your experience with us.

You may choose not to provide us with certain types of information. However, this may limit your ability to register for the Programme.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?

In order to provide you with better service, we use the information provided by you to:

  • help you register for the Programme
  • help us better understand our participants in order to offer the most relevant courses including workshops
  • ask you for your feedback on the Programme and to carry out surveys in relation to the Programme

WHO DO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH?

We will disclose your information internally within our business, but only to those who need it to further provide Services to you or to help with your requests. We will also disclose your information with the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) and EHL Advisory Services SA only to the extent that this will be necessary to run the Programme and to provide the necessary evaluations and certificates in this regard By registering for the Programme, you also agree to the privacy policy of Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) and EHL Advisory Services SA where information is provided for the performance of services before, during and after the Programme. EHL’s privacy policy is available at https://www.ehl.edu/en/privacy Aside from the purposes described above, we do not share your personal information with any other third parties unless we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the disclosure is required by law or to protect the safety of our employees, the public or our property. We do, however, reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process served on our business entity.

HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SECURE?

We take data protection seriously. We’ve put in place physical and technical safeguards to keep the information we collect secure. This data is stored in databases protected from intrusion and unauthorized viewing by commercially available software products we purchase in good faith from third party suppliers. We strive to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of personal information submitted to us and we review and update our security measures in light of current technologies. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be totally secure. However, we will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information you may transmit to us. Once we do receive your transmission, we will also make our best efforts to ensure its security on our systems. In addition, our employees and the contractors who provide services related to our information systems are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by us. However, we will not be held responsible for events arising from any unauthorized access to your personal information which has not be caused due to any wilful negligence by us. We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal data we maintain against accidental, unlawful or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure or use. We reserve the right to change, modify or amend this policy at any time. However, if there are changes made to the use of users' personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify you by posting a notice on our website for 30 days.

By filling forms on our website in relation to the Programme, signing up to receive emails from us, or by providing us with personal data while visiting our website you are consenting to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

We won’t keep your personal information for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. This means that information will be destroyed or erased from our systems when it’s no longer required.

Only for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, is processed, or longer if required under any contract, by applicable law, or for statistical purposes, subject to appropriate safeguards.
